Here are just a few ideas to spark your imagination:

- wash someone's car windows while they are pumping gas
- offer free babysitting so new parents can go have a date night
- make a home cooked meal for a neighbor (single mom, elderly)
- rake leaves for a neighbor
- buy the meal for the person behind you in the drive through
- take your friend's kids for the afternoon on a play date so they can go Christmas shopping
- send a note of encouragement for no particular reason
- show up with a bouquet of flowers at someone's workplace to brighten their day
- make baked goods for the local volunteer fire department
- donate blankets to the local rescue mission to hand out to the homeless
- take a hot meal to one of the area panhandlers that you pass on the way to work
- send a care package or thank you to a soldier
- leave a gift card for fast food under a busy mom's windshield wiper
- leave someone a Christmas card with a coffee gift card inside
- pay for a stranger's groceries
- donate used books to a library with a kind note inside
- visit the elderly in nursing homes
- help someone with home repairs
- return shopping carts at the grocery store
- make homemade handwarmers for those who work outdoors
- take books or movies to someone who is bedridden
- leave a box of canned goods on someone's porch anonymously
- donate blood at a blood drive and Christmas the technicians
